What measures are being taken to keep the residents safe?
The safety of our residents and staff is, and always has been, our upmost priority. We are maintaining strict infection control and social distancing measures in line with Public Health guidance, we also regularly undertake a deep clean and in line with government and Public Health guidance our staff wear personal protective equipment at all times.
Can I come into the home to see my relative?
Yes of course, we'd love to welcome you. We ask that you take a LFT before entry and wear PPE which will be provided by us. You are welcome to see your loved on in their bedroom or in our family area.
Are you accepting new residents?
Yes we are welcoming new residents into both of our homes, where we have availability. Please contact us to discuss your individual needs.
Do you have enough PPE available within the care homes?
Keeping everyone safe in our homes has always been our biggest priority. We have always had the necessary PPE required, allowing us to follow the strict guidance from Public Health.
Is regular testing now in place in Bethshan & Bethany House?
Yes, we are taking part in the government’s whole home testing programme, with both of our homes carrying out regular testing for residents and staff. This gives us a clear understanding of the COVID status in each home and allows us to take swift action if anything changes.
If a resident test’s positive, the resident will receive expert care within their own bedroom, from a small dedicated team using full PPE.
Should a staff member test positive, they will immediately self-isolate away from the home.
